The S3000MKII is the flagship 2.0 reference speaker system from Edifier, serving as the successor to the highly acclaimed S3000 Pro. This speaker system combines classic speaker design principles with cutting-edge technologies to deliver an exceptional audio experience.
The S3000MKII consists of two active speakers that are wirelessly connected, providing convenience and flexibility in setup. Each speaker features a horn-loaded planar magnetic tweeter and a 6.5" long-throw aluminium diaphragm mid-low driver with an aluminium basket. These components work together to produce clear and accurate sound reproduction across the entire frequency range.
Powered by dual 175W stereo PurePath™ Ultra-HD Class-D TI amplifiers, the S3000MKII can deliver a total output power of 256W (RMS). This ensures that the speakers can handle even the most demanding audio tracks with ease. Additionally, the professional audio processing circuitry guarantees a frequency response ranging from 38Hz to 40kHz, with a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) higher than 85dB(A).
The S3000MKII offers versatile connectivity options. All digital interfaces support the processing of 24bit/192kHz digital audio signals, while the analogue audio front end from Texas Instruments is specially configured to work at 24bit/96kHz, guaranteeing bit-perfect audio conversion. The two active speakers are connected via a proprietary 5.8GHz connection, which provides a wide bandwidth and low latency for smooth transmission of digital signals up to 24bit/96kHz.
For wireless connectivity, the S3000MKII features Bluetooth SoC with Qualcomm aptX™ HD technology. This technology supports audio signals with a sampling depth of up to 24 bits and a sample rate of up to 48kHz, ensuring high-quality wireless audio streaming. The speaker system also includes control knobs on the right speaker and a bundled remote control, allowing for convenient and intuitive control of the audio settings.
